Old Welcome Message

Welcome to I3MS or the Informal Iberian and Italian Medieval Seminar, a multidisciplinary seminar for graduates and undergraduates at the University of Oxford.

Our aim is to provide a forum for papers and presentations, discussion, reviews, and the sharing of information on all aspects of the study of medieval Iberia and Italy in an informal and friendly atmosphere, so that the ongoing research of students meets an audience and finds a place to express itself without the pressure of other formal seminars. We believe the two aforementioned subjects are useful discussed together because of the historical links between the Iberian peninsula and the Italian territories during the Middle Ages, but we'd also like to meet students with similar interests to ours from different backgrounds.

For further information please keep visiting our blog or contact us at the email i3ms.oxford@gmail.com. The I3MS has its own profile at Academia.edu too.
